# AI Assistant (Gus)

> Ask Gus questions about your orders, accounts, products, and inventory.

  **Who this is for:** Brand users, reps, and account (buyer) users. Gus only sees data your role is allowed to access.

**Gus** is Keystone's in-app AI assistant. Open it from **Gus** in the left sidebar to ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in your live Keystone data.

## What Gus can help with

Gus adapts to your role:

* **Brand users and reps** — orders, accounts, products, sales trends, and inventory
* **Account (buyer) users** — your own orders, products, and inventory availability

### Example questions

> "Which accounts haven't ordered in the last 60 days?"

> "What are my top SKUs this month?"

> "Show me open orders for Acme Retail."

> "How much ATS do I have on SKU CC26-BLK?"

Gus uses your tenant's data and respects the same access rules as the rest of the app — reps see their accounts, buyers see their own account, and brand users see brand-wide data according to their tier.

## Tips for better answers

* Be specific — include account names, date ranges, or SKU codes when you can.
* Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation; Gus keeps context within a session.
* If an answer looks wrong, use the feedback controls below the message so your team can improve responses over time.

## What Gus is not

Gus is designed for operational questions about your Keystone data. For pricing strategy, contract terms, or compliance decisions, use Gus's output as a starting point and apply your own judgment.

Gus does not access data from other brands or external systems outside your Keystone integrations.
