# Getting Started

> Sign in to Keystone B2B, understand your role, and find your way around the app.

<Note>
  **Who this is for:** Brand users, reps, and account (buyer) users. What you see after sign-in depends on your role and which features your brand has turned on.
</Note>

Keystone B2B is a wholesale platform for brands, their sales reps, and retail buyers. You can track accounts, place and review orders, run reports, and — when enabled — build catalogs and email campaigns.

## Roles in Keystone

| Role | Who you are | Typical access |
| ------------------- | ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Brand user** | Employee of the brand | Dashboard, accounts, orders, settings (varies by tier) |
| **Rep** | Sales rep or sub-rep | Accounts assigned to you, ordering, reports, catalogs |
| **Account (buyer)** | Buyer at a retail account | Your account's orders, invoices, and ordering tools |

Brand users are further split into tiers:

| Tier | What you can do |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Administrator** | Full access, including user management and integrations |
| **Manager** | Manage orders and campaigns, view reports — not user or settings admin |
| **Viewer** | Read-only access to data and reports |

## Step 1 — Accept your invitation

Most users receive an invitation email from Keystone. The email includes a one-click setup link, a 6-digit backup code (if email scanners break the link), and a link to this documentation.

1. Click **Accept Invitation** / **Access Your Portal** in the email (or enter the 6-digit code on the auth page if the link does not work).
2. Set a password that meets the requirements shown on screen.
3. Sign in at [app.keystoneb2b.io](https://app.keystoneb2b.io).

Role-specific guides linked from invite emails:

| Role              | Start here                                                |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Brand user or rep | This page — [Getting started](/app-guide/getting-started) |
| Account (buyer)   | [Buyer portal](/app-guide/buyer-portal)                   |

<Warning>
  If your invitation link has expired or you never received one, ask your brand admin to resend the invite, or contact [support@keystoneb2b.io](mailto:support@keystoneb2b.io).
</Warning>

## Step 2 — Explore the left sidebar

After sign-in, the sidebar is your main navigation:

| Section          | What it covers                                                            |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Dashboard** | Your home screen — layout varies by role |
| **Accounts** | Customer accounts (reps and brand users) or **Account Overview** (buyers) |
| **Ordering** | Place orders, ATS, suggested orders — when ordering is enabled |
| **Transactions** | Sales orders, draft orders, invoices, shipments, returns |
| **Forecasts** | Rep and brand planning — when forecasts are enabled |
| **Campaigns** | Email outreach to accounts — when campaigns are enabled |
| **Brand Assets** | Shared files and images |
| **Catalogs** | Digital product catalogs — when ordering is enabled |
| **Gus**          | In-app AI assistant                                                       |
| **Reports**      | Pre-built reports and exports                                             |
| **Settings** | Preferences, security, and brand configuration |

Reps and brand users should also review [Rep follow-ups](/features/rep-follow-ups) for dashboard widgets that flag accounts needing outreach.

Not every item appears for every user. If you do not see **Ordering**, **Campaigns**, or **Forecasts**, your brand may have those features turned off.

## Step 3 — Complete brand setup (brand users)

Brand administrators should work through **Settings** to finish onboarding:

1. **Brand Settings** — logo, colors, and styling for catalogs and invoices.
2. **Integrations** — connect Shopify, QuickBooks, Deposco, or other systems your brand uses.
3. **Inventory** — map warehouse regions and incoming PO sources (when ordering is enabled).
4. **User Access** — invite brand teammates, reps, and buyer accounts.

Reps and buyers typically do not configure integrations — your brand admin handles that.
